Entering a Contest.
So I decided to enter a contest at Writer's Digest about a week ago when they sent me a postcard. Last year I submitted online and the website glitched which pissed me off. This year I plan to send it in the old fashion way via snail mail. Hopefully that doesn't get lost too.

The contest is for a short short story that has to be 'bold but brief'. I'd submit my last year's entry but I have a feeling it was WAY too bold for their blood. I imagine a table of judges all introverted, uptight, know-it-alls in their mid 40's. So for their sake I'm going to have to turn it down a notch. I know I have to because I ordered the booklet that the first 25 winners or so were published in and they were all dull and boring...none were bold what-so-ever except there was one I really liked about a guy who went back through time and it got 4th place. These judges obviously have poor taste so I'm going to have to lower myself to their level but still try to keep my creative dignity.

Anyways if any of you feel like entering the website can be found here. The deadline is Dec. 3rd so you have plenty of time but if you happen to miss it don't worry they do it every year and have been for at least 10....so it's not going to stop anytime soon.
